«BUD» is a choreographic investigation with Roza Moshtaghi, Trine Lise Moe, Lykourgos Porfyris, Ronak Moshtaghi and Thomas Schaupp, approaching the potential of unpacking expectations and frame the practice of embodying the monsters. This transhistorical body is both so fascinating and disturbing. We investigate the formulation of the experience we refer to as «waiting,» the mysterious state of mind we commonly attribute to the content of expectation. Eventually, in this pre-prosjekt we will develop a method for producing dance scores, sound and costumes.

About the artists

Roza Moshtaghi is a choreographer and performer based in Oslo. Her works deal with the unexplained narratives of desire generated through adapting or reacting to systems/structures. Questions of how she, buildings, streets, fictions, nature, events, bodies, and objects, in general, take part in this alteration have been crucial to most of her work. She presents her work internationally and continues to develop projects with other artists, both as a collaborator and as a performer.
Her most recent performances are; LIMBO(2020), HOOP(2020), Bouncing Narratives(2019), Only forever(2018), Flinch(2017), THE SMELL OF ITS SHIRT (2016), Water graffiti(2016). https://www.rozamoshtaghi.com
