Jenny Beyer and her artistic team open the rehearsals for their new piece DEUX, and invite you to join in the studio or online.

What does closeness mean right now? Given the impact of the pandemic, DEUX is focusing on the meeting of two people as a precarious, intimate and collaborative endeavor. The requirement of distance imposed by the Corona pandemic becomes the playing field and the condition of the encounter: Due to the Norwegian travel restrictions dancer Nina Wollny joins Jenny Beyer with the help of a projected video conference. What is the value of the empty space between us? How do we fill it?

DEUX carefully tests the possibilities that are opened by working in distance. The aim is to create a special double performance that will be performed simultaneously in Kampnagel – Hamburg and DansiT – Trondheim.

DEUX is the second part of a trilogy in which Jenny Beyer and team searches for moments of encounter within the classical dance formats, namely solo, pas de deux and corps de ballet.

This is how you can participate in the studio in Trondheim:
