– En danseforestilling for ungdom om alt det rare som egentlig foregår inni en menneskekropp
Å være barn, bli ungdom og skulle bli en voksen kan være en prøvelse. Hvem er sjefen i et menneske? Hvilken del bestemmer hva som er «jeg»? Hvilke fysiske og mentale prosesser har vi egentlig i oss, og i hvilken grad kan vi kontrollere dem?
I denne forestillingen inviterer to dansekunstnere ungdom fra 12 år til å bli med på innsiden av mennesket som beveger seg utover på scenen. Vi får følge to kropper som kjemper med å gjenvinne kontrollen. De presser luften ut av hjertet og pakker det tilbake i innerlomma. Her vrenges innsiden av menneskekroppen på utsiden, i en humoristisk og poetisk forestilling som utforsker hvordan hjernen, nervene, tankene, følelsene og organene våre samarbeider om å forme vår identitet fra innsiden.
Forestillingen er utviklet av Nina Biong og Katja Schia, i samarbeid med en gruppe ungdommer, som har vært med på å forme problemstillingene som kommer til uttrykk på scenen. Den passer for alle som lurer på hva slags store fysiske og mentale endringer kroppen kan gå gjennom. Biong og Schia er begge profesjonelle dansekunstnere og koreografer, som sammen har produsert fire danseforestillinger som alle har ditt utgangspunkt i å utforske sammenhengen mellom sinn, bevegelse og menneskers intuitive uttrykksformer.

A dance performance for young people about all the weird stuff that really go on inside a human body.
Being a child, becoming a teenager and going on to be an adult can be an ordeal. Who is the boss of a human being? Which part determines what «I» am? What physical and mental processes do we really have in us, and to what extent can we control them?
In this performance, two dance artists invite young people from the age of 12 to join the inside of the person mooving on stage. We get to follow two bodies that are struggling to regain control. They squeeze the air out of the heart and pack it back down in their inside pocket. In this performance, the inside of the body is turned outside, in a humorous and poetic performance that explores how our brains, nerves, thoughts, emotions and organs work together to shape our identity from the inside.
The performance is developed by Nina Biong and Katja Schia, in collaboration with a group of young people, who have helped to shape the issues that are expressed on stage. It is suitable for anyone who is wondering what kind of major physical and mental changes the body can go through. Biong and Schia are both professional dance artists and choreographers. Together they have produced four dance performances that all have a starting point in exploring the connection between mind, movement and intuitive forms of expression.
